Presenting The Ooey Gooey Lady - Work shop

As you all know I am and early childhood educator, and on top of working with the children we are required to go to workshops to keep our Education up to date.

Yesterday I went to the best workshop I have been to and got to meet the Ooey Gooey Lady (Lisa)

This lady was an amazing presenter, she really knew what she was talking about
she has been working with children for over 20 years. she is all about the hands on with the children.

When the work shop was over I was sad, I wanted to sit there and listen to her ALL DAY!

She gave us tips like. its okay if not all children are sitting at circle time because just because they are not sitting at the circle time area does not mean they are not listening to what is going on!

Lisa’s first unofficial workshop was at the 1996 NAEYC Conference in Dallas, TX when the presenter of a morning session promising handouts and activity ideas  didn't show up.  After announcing to her new conference friend sitting next to her, “I could do that” and having her new friend say, “I dare you.” The rest as they say, is history. Lisa jumped on stage and did an impromptu session for over 500 participants. The door to what we do now was opened in Dallas.

At this workshop she had alot of hands on experiences and games for us to try

glue glitter on to a paper plate . turn the lights out and  shine a flash light on and watch the magic happen !

I did not want to leave. she was absolutely  hilarious !

Check out the ooey gooey lady , you will not be disappointed !
